Too thick

"Bought 2 pairs but found when fitted to my footwear they too up too much space making my footwear too tight on my feet, returned them both for a refund."

Stuart D. (1/5)

Uncomfortable and tiring

"Originally convinced to use these in my approach and mountaineering shoes/boots. Through additional experience and time I have come to realise how these tire my feet and lead to fatigue, plus reduce ground feel horribly. Originally seemed supportive but lead to discomfort in the long run forcing feet to work unnaturally not allowing my big toe to load bare, leading to instability especially in descent. Much better with standard flat and thin insoles. On the plus side, well made and robust."

Q&A

Hi, I'm a long-term user of Superfeet Green in my walking/ trekking/mountain boots. I have a pair of light Alpine mountain boots which are lower volume than usual and the Greens are too thick to wear the socks I need to stabilise my feet laterally within the boots. I've tried Flex Lows in the boots and the thickness is OK for my intended sock set and required heel height within the boots but the support is a little lacking. My question - are the Run Comfort Thin insoles the same thickness as the Flex Lows? Also, are they OK for use in boots with a Gore-Tex waterproof lining?
Hi John, RUN Comfort Thin is about 0.2 mm thicker than FLEXthin, so it will take up more room inside of your boots. RUN Comfort Thin has smoothed edges and tends to pair well with waterproof lined boots. However, over time, most insoles will conform to the heel of your footwear and can cause wear through the lining. Superfeet offers no guarantee against the side effects of the insole wearing through waterproof liners.
